Suddenly I'm seeing all kinds of adult colouring books and doodle art everywhere I go, and this is my Christmas morning!
Since when does something I have done since the beginning of time and continue to do become popular?! It's such a craze right now and I kind of love it!
Yes I am a doodler at heart. My school notes were laced with floral zigs and zags and loop de loops, my titles were graphic designs! Little did I know I was self medicating!! Did you hear, colouring is therapeutic?! But be warned... it could do damage on your wrist and your neck, so don't overdose, watch your posture and take breaks!
For those of you who know me well, you'll know that a gift from KMo usually consists of a handmade card. in my efforts to do this I have decided to share this gift and hopefully make a little extra $$ along the way. Although someone like Anne of Green Gables may find the idea of a starving artist to be romantic.. I'm not convinced. In fact, I hardly have the confidence in my artist abilities to call myself an artist at all! However, I am a big believer in potential, and that it is greater than we can comprehend.
I am a work of art in the making. What I become depends on what I treasure in my heart and which direction I face day to day, even moment to moment. I believe I can overcome the limitations I have created for myself and become an artist, a mother and anything else I dream of that may seem impossible right now. Faith in God is a significant foundational piece to this equation; because with God nothing is impossible!
